Clonshire Equestrian & Polo Centre boasts two fine accommodation resources right in the middle of
the
estate. The Wing and
the Lodge
THE WING (Self- Catering Apartment)

The Wing is a beautiful apartment situated at the entrance to the Livery
yard. There are three fine sized bedrooms. The first has an en-suite
bathroom and a very comfortable double bed. The second room has 1 pair of adult
sized bunk beds while the third bedroom has 2 pairs of bunks. These latter
two rooms share a well appointed bathroom. There is a beautiful spacious dining and lounge area with a galley kitchen to
relax in the evening over a hot mug of tea or maybe something stronger.
There is nothing nicer than to sit outside the door of the wing on a summers
evening, enjoying a bottle of wine while the horses in the stables look on and
hope for an apple.
A nice added bonus for wing dwellers who want to get away from domestic
chores is that we can arrange for our chef to pre-prepare meals which are
delicious.

The Lodge
Live-in Accommodation with Dan and Sue Foley
The centre's joint managers and Senior instructors, Dan and Sue
Foley live in Clonshire Lodge with their three daughters. They have four
extra bedrooms and a separate lounge area especially to welcome youths, teenagers
and children to their home for a riding holiday during the summer. Up to ten
children can be accommodated at a time.
During the winter months Sue and Dan host many of the students
on our professional programs and adults who come to ride for a week or two.
 We could go on and on about the fun children of all ages have at
the Lodge with dogs, cats, ponies, horses, foals and a 120 acre playground in an
idyllic rural situation, eating expertly prepared wholesome, scrumptious food but
maybe the fact that children, teenagers and adults keep returning, year after
year, says it all
One young guest came early in the season for one week, stayed
for three weeks, fell in love with his favourite pony, bought him and is now
forming a great partnership in his homeland!!
