We had three new Dressage Diva’s doing their first tests on Sunday and they were brilliant.  Eamon wasnt bad either – even if he didnt have a freshly washed girth sleeve on Tristan!  Here are some photos of the day.

Lisa and Nero

I arrived to Clonshire 2 weeks ago with Cecile, a friend. We are French.

We spent the week on horses. We rode many horses, in the big & small arena. We jumped every day with Joanne, Marie and Sue. And, at 2 o’clock p.m we had an English lesson with Tess.  We lived with Sue, Dan & their daughters; they are very nice.

Cecil loved BlackLegend, she rode him nearly everyday. Me, I prefer Skittles and Nero.

We went too Hollywood; it’s very nice, but it’s most beautiful in summer.

Clonhsire  opened the cross country only for us .

Cecile went back to France last week and I was alone for one week again ! I was a little afraid, but over time, I felt good. I rode my favorite horses (Nero, Skittles).  I continued my lessons with Tess and Issie, her little dog.

By the way, yesterday I worked on the International Women’s Day, it was very interesting. Today, I will go to the village and maybe I will ride a last time with Joanne, because tomorrow I go back to France…

The County Limerick Foxhounds will be holding their hunter trials on Holy Thursday April 5th next in Clonshire.  Start time is 10.30am and we will be starting with the pony classes.  All the usual classes.  Information will be posted as it becomes availalbe.  Anyone interested in marking a fence or helping with numbers etc, please contact the office.
