Preliminary Tests BD 14 2006 and BD 19 2008
Riding club classes will also be held on that day and the tests are detailed on the North Munster Dressage web site http://www.northmunsterdressage.com/schedule/schedule.php

Copies of all tests will be available from the office as well as entry forms and these can be emailed out to you if you wish.

You dont need your own horse to take part in these tests as you can ride one of the school horses and if you are interested in trying your hand at dressage, this is a very good place to start. North Munster Dressage are very friendly and helpful and if you dont have a jacket, we can loan you one.
We are all in for a treat as Jenny Loriston Clarke will be here on that day judging the senior classes.
The cost of entries for non members has been reduced considerably this year by North Munster Dressage and classes cost only €10 each to enter plus the €5 temporary registration fee to cover insurances.
There will be refreshments available on the day.
So please come and join us on Sunday March 13th – spectators are most welcome.
We will keep you updated on this competition and if you would like any further information, please contact either the office here at Clonshire or the show secretary Judy Devine on 087 6232672 (NMRD)

Horse Sport Ireland Mare Inspections
Tuesday, September 7th, 2010Horse Sport Ireland held one of their mare inspections at the centre last Friday. This is the first year that HSI have held these inspections and mares inspected were Irish Sport Horse and Irish Draughts. There were 20 mares for inspection from the age of 2 years upwards some with foals at foot and some in foal as prospective brood mares.
Some of the mares were loose jumped depending on their age and level of training as well as how advanced their pregnancies were.
Mares were graded on confirmation and movement and all had to under go a vet check as well, much in the same way as stallions are graded. There were a panel of inspectors among which was the show jumper Jack Doyle.
