Just to remind you all of the start of the winter league this Sunday November 13th at 11am. All classes cost €10 per entry and as usual we are starting with the micro – the smallest class. There will be refreshments available throughout the day provided by Karen of HeavenSent home cooking and baking.
This is Rebecca with Ashley Foley and Izzie Walsh. This was taken on Rebecca’s first day at Clonshire – That was in August and Rebecca rides Franklin every week now and is getting better and better. She didnt recognise him yesterday as he had been clipped for the first time this year. He looks so different after his visit to the hairdressers.

The SJI Tenner League will he in Clonshire tomorrow Sunday September 18th starting at 10am – there will be four arenas in operation and a good turnout is expected as it is the final.

Capucine & Victoire who are here on holiday from France enjoying themselves this morning on the cross country course. They are leaving us to day after two great weeks of laughter and ponies.
We have not posted updates for a while, sorry but we have had a great Easter. There was camp from Monday April 18th until Monday May 2nd and the weather was wonderful so we had a full house. There was great fun especially with the excitement of the hunter trials and our own Amy Cussen and Emma Foley winning one of the classes as well as Sarah Manangan and Niamh Wetherill comming second in another of the classes was a great start to the holidays. Then Sarah won the novice individual class and we were realy excited.
There was amounted Easter egg hunt over the cross country course on Easter Saturday which was great fun and even the best riders had trouble trying to handle their mounts and hold onto their Easter eggs! Amy Cussen was the clear winner as she had two bags of Easter eggs on her back and a very wound up Sparkie to get around the course. Clodagh Dunne and Emma Foley both did well in the hunt and Emma had her new pony Champ out for the day and he behaved himself very well while Zorro, Fluff, Jedward and of course Sparkie all tried to take off!
A big thank you to all of our helpers on the day. Aoife, Ellen, Karena, Sarah and of course Sue & Dan for letting us do it in the first place.

Extra Mock Exam
Clonshire Equestrian Centre will be adding an extra day to their BHS Stage 1 & 2 Training Course which will be starting on Wednesday March 23rd.
There will be an additional “Mock Exam” to be held on Saturday May 7th There is no charge those on the course. Those who would like to come for that day only; there will be limited spaces available costing €60.00 per person.
