Where is Clonshire Equestrian
and Polo Centre?
Clonshire is near the mouth of Ireland's
greatest River, the Shannon. County Limerick is renowned for producing great
thoroughbred and sport horses and Clonshire is right in the heart of horse
country and tradition.

within two miles of the beautiful village of
Adare, we
combine the tranquillity
and peace of a rural setting with the advantages of a major population centre
close by. Shannon International Airport, with daily schedules to North America,
the U.K. and Europe is just half an hour away in one direction while the
stunning scenery of Killarney and the Kerry coast are an hour's drive in the
other.
We are less than 2 hours from Cork Airport, 3
hours from Dublin Airport, 2 and a half hours from Rosslare Ferry port and
twenty minutes from Limerick's Rail and inter-city bus station.
The Centre is less than five minutes drive
from one of the most beautiful and unique villages in Ireland, Adare..
How to get here

From Dublin and Waterford, head for Limerick.
As you approach Limerick, take the bypass toward Cork and Killarney. Stay on the
Killarney road until you reach the village of Adare. From Adare, continue
on the Killarney road for less than one mile. Just as the road widens, keep an
eye for the signpost for Clonshire Equestrian and Polo Centre. Take the
right turn, drive to the first cross roads and there on the right is the gate of
Clonshire estate.
Drive in the long avenue, past the Livery
yard, the hunt horse pasture, the huntsmans cottage , the large kennel complex and, at the end of the
outdoor arena, park outside the indoor arena and office complex or, if you are
pulling a horsebox or driving a horse transporter, park in the large parking
area beyond the centre.
From Cork. take the road via Mallow,
Charleville and Croom and outside Patrickswell take the left onto the Killarney
road and continue as above.
From Killarney and Tralee, take the Limerick
road past the town of Rathkeale. Continue on a mile beyond the village of
Croagh and watch for the Clonshire signpost. Turn left down to our entrance and
drive in the avenue as above.
