Sue Foley is one of the best qualified and most experienced instructors in the country.  Sue has helped many riders reach their riding dream, whether it is passing career exams, tackling a difficult jump or just learning how to enjoy a gentle hack in the countryside.  With Sue's help you are guaranteed to achieve your goal.  Sue is a dedicated teacher and strives to ensure the horse and rider find true harmony.  Sue enjoys hunting with the County Limerick Foxhounds and events during the Summer.

Dan Foley
Manager
Level 1 Coach,
Competes Nationally & Internationally in SJ & Eventing


Having ridden all his life, Dan especially enjoys the competitive rider no matter what level, be it getting a good dressage result or jumping a big track of showjumps.  Dan will instill confidence in both the horse and rider so each with preform to their full ability.  Dan is a renowned produced of event type horses and has sold horses and ponies overseas that have gone on to win at a high level, including Master Carouseo who represented Ireland at the 2012 Olympics in London.  He also has sold horses to international riders such as Mark Todd, Karen Dixon and US international riders.

Katrina Brosnahan Geary

Katrina is an efficient and responsible administrator who is your first point of contact with our centre. Her vast experience in Clonshire as a coach will ensure you make the right choice of riding programme and she will ensure you are fully prepared to make the most of your time with us. Katrina co-ordinates our Summer Camps, both residential and non-residential and ensures each individual is having a great holiday. The only thing she has to remind our campers is that they should call home as they are so busy making new friends and out riding that forget about ringing home altogether!!

Carol Spain

Bsc Veterinary Nursing

Carol is an enthusiastic Coach who thrives giving her riders challenging and progressive exercises to help improve their equestrian skills. She has extensive experience in the industry, having produced her own horses, competed in Amateur Showjumping and eventing and even competing at the RDS Dublin horse show with a thoroughbred she retrained herself. Carol has a bachelor of science in veterinary nursing and has a keen interest in the horses welfare and level of care, Always ensuring our horses are at full health.

Caitlin Tighe
Senior Rider & Coach 
BHS Stage 3 in Complete Horsemanship



Caitlin is a highly skilled Event Rider and Equestrian Trainer with extensive experience in breaking, schooling, and competing. Her expertise ensures that horses are schooled to the highest standards. Currently competing at an international level, Caitlin is dedicated to helping liveries and riders with similar aspirations achieve their goals. She also ensures that horses in our livery yard receive the highest level of care.

Muireann Dooley
BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship 

Muireann is an experienced horse riding coach for all levels, and loves to teach both Privates and group lessons. Also a rider who is dedicated to progressing horses' education,  With a rich history of producing and competing her own horses, Muireann loves to share her knowledge and help riders achieve their goals and advance in the saddle.

Emma Hennigan 
BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship

Emma is a BHS Coach specializing in building riders' confidence while enhancing their position and technique. She offers both group and private lessons, as well as holiday camps. Emma's fun and engaging manner makes her a favorite among members of our children's camp, who also enjoy her stable management and games sessions.

Aoibhain Thompson 
Professional Rider 

Aoibhain is a professional horse rider with exceptional talent in schooling and educating young horses, as well as improving the way of going for older horses. Her expertise and dedication ensure that each horse reaches its full potential, whether it's a young horse learning the basics or an older horse refining its skills. Aoibhain's passion for equestrianism and her ability to connect with horses make her an invaluable asset to our team

Stephanie Kennedy

Stephanie is a dedicated horse riding coach and stable hand who excels at getting both children and adults started on their equestrian riding journeys. Her supportive and encouraging approach helps riders build confidence and develop their skills from the very beginning. In addition to her coaching, Stephanie takes great care of the horses in the stables, ensuring they are well-cared for and happy.

Clonshire prides itself on the level of training our coaches hold and are able to deliver. The team are all Qualified Coaches and continue to improve their extensive knowledge on a day to day basis, living off the quote "No Coach ever stops learning, That's what makes the great coaches great!" 
Our team of coaches deliver progressive training for Adults, Children and Career Students to help you achieve your equestrian goals.

The Livery Team

Caitlin, Aoibhain & Muireann are all BHS Stage 3 professional riders and are experienced in horse care. With the help of Carol (BsC in Veterinary Nursing) You can ensure all horses are given the best care and attention.  Owners can be assured of a thorough and comprehensive standard of Horse Care and Management here in Clonshire Equestrian Centre.  Our breaking and schooling Programme is very much in demand as all livery staff take each horse as an individual and make sure the horse gets the most positive experience at this most delicate stage of training. All Of our riders also have extensive competition experience, competing regularly in eventing and showjumping with their own horses that are kept here at Clonshire.
